The USA Flight Crew's very own Jennifer Nickerson opened the Ft. Worth Alliance Air Show Saturday Oct. 24, 2009
singing the National Anthem while the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team jumped from high above the crowd.
It was an exciting two day event as the Flight Crew signed hundreds of autographs, was a part of the VIP Chalet and
met with teams from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, the infamous Blue Angels, and thousands of aviation
spectators and supporters.  Over 180,000 people attend the show each year.
The primary beneficiary for the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show is the USO of Dallas/Fort Worth, whose mission is to
support U.S. troops and their families by providing a wide range of free amenities, such as food, internet and e-mail
access, housing assistance, and nursery facilities. In addition the USO offers a unique benefit to service members
through the United Through Reading Program, which records soldiers reading a children’s book, then sends the new
book and the recording to his or her family.
